Since I was 11 years old I have been a HUGE Harry Potter fan (who isn’t?). I thought it was the coolest thing to be the same age as Harry each year he returned to Hogwarts to Hagrid, Dumbledore and the crew. I never thought I would get to experience the excitement of waiting for another book to be released again. With the glorious arrival of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and an ode to Harry’s birthday, I’ve been re-reading the series and watching the movies!
Harry Potter may be about the wizarding world but the magic experienced when reading them is immeasurable. In fact, I enjoyed HP so much growing up that I am saddened for kids who haven’t read the books and experienced the institution that is the world of Harry Potter.
While reading I am falling in love with the characters, the relationships and the magical world all over again. What strikes me most throughout all the dialogue are the stellar quotes of Albus Dumbledore, beloved headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.

I *LOVE* this! HP is by far my favorite series ever, and I’ve been slowly working my way through the books again for the hundredth time or so. (Maybe not actually that many times, but you know.) I’m with you – I didn’t think I’d get another book, but I was so glad to have gotten just that one more. 🙂

Love the quotes! But my favorite Dumbledore quote is still “Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.” I remember reading that and it just resonated with me. I am still astounded I managed to get tickets and saw the play last week! I’ve definitely been revisiting all things Harry Potter in celebration 😀 Happy (belated) birthday, Harry!

I am still yet to read The Cursed Child as my child who hates reading loves the script format and I am not interrupting him reading so I can 🙂

Harry Potter is the best, and Albus is just such an important and well-written character. So much good wisdom we can take into our daily lives from this one fiction series.
I love Harry Potter (movies and books) and Dumbledore has got to be one of my favorite characters. I bawled like a baby in during The Half-Blood Prince.
I’ve finished Cursed Child, and I have been reading and watching the movies over again too! (I was on Deathly Hallows but skipped it because I was too excited for Cursed Child) I’m not sure how I feel about it, but wish I could see it in action! Can’t wait for Fantastic Beasts in November, too. #WizardingWorldForever
